Our eco-friendly camping mug is the perfect companion for an early morning coffee.

The Kuksa has been used in Northern Scandanavia for thousands of years and is now something almost sacred among traditional hikers, bushcrafters and fell-goers.

Made from smooth strong wood, the Kuksa has two holes for easy handling when out and about on hikes and would be a great addition to any camping trip. It’s great at holding both hot and cold drinks, and doesn’t leave a taste in your mouth like a lot of plastic versions do.

Traditionally the Kuksa is cleaned only using warm water and a cloth, and just as most wooden cookery items, if you look after it, it will last you a lifetime.

Instructions for sealing your camping mug before use:

1. Wipe your mug clean using a dry cloth to remove any dust or particles

2. Dab a small amount of mineral oil (we use olive oil or vegetable oil) onto kitchen roll and wipe all over mug

3. Allow oil to seep into wood to seal for at least 5 hours (ideally overnight)

Your wooden mug is not dishwasher friendly….!
